Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
Only physical tangible products are eligible for refund or exchange, services and/or fees are non refundable.
Acceptable full and/or partial refunds include:
- Manufacturer defects
- Incorrect service provided as defined in the original order and/or contract
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. We will not accept refunds for completed framing orders that have been tampered with. This includes but is not limited to: removing the hanging hardware or paper backing.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned or replaced. Perishable goods such as mat board, foam core, and any paper based product, glass, and acrylic cannot be returned.
We will not accept returns or exchanges on damaged glass/acrylic for full contact pickup and/or delivery of completed orders. This means once you have inspected your framing order with a Rambutik employee in person, and the exchange is completed (we leave your specified delivery location, or you leave a Rambutik workshop with the completed order) the glass or acrylic portion of your order is no longer available for return or exchange.
All sales of cut and/or assembled products (glass, acrylic, mat board, paper, frame molding, etc.) sold without the intended artwork provided to Rambutik at the time of sale are non refundable purchases. This means if you provide us measurements and we deliver the exact measurements originally provided we will not accept a return, re-cut, or redo on the order. We strongly prefer that Rambutik take measurements for framing orders.

- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to Rambutik without prior authorization of a return. Anything that is sent to us without notice will be liable for storage and/or disposal fees.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted, these are to be determined by Rambutik on a case by case situation.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-10 business days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective.
Order Cancellations
All framing services require a 50% down payment to initiate an order. If a cancellation is requested before work has begun on the order, customers may be granted a full or partial refund. The cost of any materials used in the preparation of an order will be deduced from any issued refund. This includes but is not limited to: mat board, paper, glass, acrylic, molding, hardware, adhesives, and other tangible products used to complete framing orders.
Order Cancellations may be subject to additional cancellation service fees, to be determined on a case by case basis, and will be deducted from any issued refund.
Shipping returns
If a return is qualified by Rambutik and you elect to ship it, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping more expensive items to be re-fitted or re-framed, such as original artwork or limited addition prints, you may consider purchasing additional insurance on the specific item to protect your asset(s). You may also consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
